The Callaway High School Football Team Has a Tough Schedule Ahead of Them This Season
CAVALIERS HEAD COACH PETE WIGGINS SAYS ITS THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULE HE HAS PUT TOGETHER AT CALLAWAY
Over on at Callaway high school head coach Pete Wiggins enters his fourteenth season with the cavaliers one of the longest tenured coaches in class AA.
Wiggins is 115-42 in those 14 years.
Last year Callaway had the largest football signing class in school history losing a lot of key players but despite that the level of talent and work ethic has not wavered.
“I think a lot of us, the whole team likes to work. We have had that before but its a different level this year and it’s really good to be a part of,” says Callaway senior offensive tackle Keiondre Jones.
“I think that our kids come here with that mindset and our schedule is tough. I think it’s the toughest schedule that I have put together since we’ve been here, so it presents a lot of challenges, but each week I feel like we’ll have an opportunity to grow and get better and hopefully that’s what we can do,” says Callaway head football coach Pete Wiggins.
