Kroger Launches Online Grocery Delivery Service

YOU DON’T HAVE TO “GO KROGERING” ANYMORE – KROGER IS COMING TO YOU, WITH ONLINE GROCERY DELIVERY SERVICE

Cincinnati, OH(WXIX) – Companies like Amazon and Walmart have made great strides in online grocery delivery.

And now, the service is coming to another grocery store.

Kroger, the largest grocery chain in the U.S., launched its direct home delivery service, “Kroger ship,” on Wednesday.

The service is in just four cities to start Cincinnati, Houston, Louisville, and Nashville with plans to expand to new markets in coming months.

Kroger previously offered delivery from 1,200 stores, but that was through third party service like Insta-Cart.

There move to direct home delivery comes as more and more shoppers opt for online options over brick-and-mortar retail stores.
