UGA Wide Receiver Terry Godwin Pays Tribute to Callaway High School
GODWIN THANKS CALLAWAY HIGH SCHOOL FOR PREPARING HIM FOR THE NEXT LEVEL
Day two of SEC Media Days has come to a close here in Atlanta and UGA wide receiver Terry Godwin had a lot to say about his return to Athens for his senior season.
His main reason for finishing out his fourth year at Georgia is to be a part of the Bulldog legacy a little bit longer.
Godwin had one of his most productive seasons in 2017 with 6 touchdown catches and averaging 16.8 receiving yards per game.
He thanks Callaway high school for setting the foundation for the success he has had in the SEC.
“I mean it means a lot to us, because I mean Hogansville is a small town and now they see that we have guys down there with talent levels that can compete at a division one level. For guys like Quan Bray to host his camp there, I mean, it shows a lot. It shows a lot with what Callaway has done for us and what they are still doing for us,” says senior Georgia wide receiver Terry Godwin.
This was Godwin’s first ever SEC Media Days experience and he says he’s just blessed to be here. We will get to see more of him come September first when Georgia takes on Austin Peay at home.
