Novartis Recalls 12 Drugs Over Packaging Concerns

12 NOVARTIS MEDICATIONS IN BLISTER CARE PACKAGES RECALLED BECAUSE CHILDREN CAN GET INTO THEM

(CNN) – A pharmaceutical company wants patients to heed warnings about twelve recalled medications.

Novartis recalled certain pills in blister card packages including Zofran and Donepezil.

There is nothing wrong with the medicines themselves, the problem lies in the packaging.

It does not meet the U.S. standards for child resistance.

One child has ingested medication from one of the packs.

The same prescriptions in bottles are not affected by the recall.

If you have medication from Novartis in a blister card package, put it out of reach of children and call company’s customer service number.
