Not As Many Storms Come Friday

Can't Say The Same For The Weekend

Low clouds and fog will greet us Friday morning along with a slew of humidity.  Most storms that re-fire with the heating of the day on Friday may just be south of Columbus.   That’s not to say there cannot be a stray thunderstorm farther north.  However, it will be a quieter day overall.

Meanwhile, an area of low pressure will form off the coast of the panhandle of Florida, allowing additional storms to move in both days of this weekend.   So, if you’re planning a trip to the beach or staying around town, it is best to plan for some more wet weather and dangerous lightning.

More heat will pile on top of us headed into the Nation’s birthday week, along with a downward trend in the number of thunderstorms each day.  Unfortunately, it will not be completely rain-free.
