Thursday Forecast: Sunny, Hot, Humidity Returning
Low 90s for Most of the Area Today
We’ll have a preview of summer heading into the weekend as daytime highs get hotter, nights get milder, and humidity tippy-toes back in. Plus, daily rain chances return.
That high pressure that has been keeping us dry will break down and allow moist air to filter in. Along with that increase in humidity, we can expect scattered showers throughout the weekend. Instability will also tick up (thanks, in part, to daytime heating), so isolated thunderstorms will be possible, too.
Mostly sunny skies today with daytime highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.
Mainly clear tonight with lows in the mid 60s to around 70.
Partly cloudy with a spotty shower or two on Friday with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.
Partly to mostly cloudy for the weekend with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Highs in upper the 80s to low 90s. Lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
