The Fountain City is the Set of a New Movie Called “My Brothers Keeper”

Lights, camera, action!

The Fountain City is the set of a new movie called “My Brothers Keeper.”

The movie is about a veteran struggling with PTSD and his faith in God.

Some of the cast you might recognize like TJ Stallings from the film “A Question of Faith” and Joey Lawrence from ABC Family’s “Melissa and Joey” and “Hawaii Five O”.

Monday, they were filming the first and last scene of the movie in the Columbus airport when the main character first gets back from deployment and then when he leaves to go back to his unit.

Executive Produce Tyrone Manns said Columbus is home to him and that’s why he chose our city for the location of his movie.

“I wanted to take something I wrote and produced and bring it here in Columbus and hire and help people in the community and bring awareness that we can bring movies here to Columbus, Georgia,” said Manns.

“My Brother’s Keeper” is set to hit screens early next year.
