Marietta, Georgia Mans Dies After Whitewater Rafting in the Chattahoochee River

A Marietta, Georgia man dies in the Chattahoochee River over the weekend.

It happened Saturday following a whitewater rafting trip.

The victim,  Alvin Lino, was wearing a life jacket when they found him unresponsive on the Alabama side of the river.

Lino was taken to Jack Hughston Hospital in Phenix City where he later died.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said Lino had heart problems, so the autopsy will show if he drowned or if he went into cardiac arrest.
