More young people are dying from their injuries.

Injury related deaths are on the rise among kids and teens.

That’s according to a new government report.

It shows accidental deaths mostly from car crashes increased 13 percent between 2013 and 2016.

Youth suicide rates also rose a whopping 56 percent.

And the number of kids and teens who were victims of homicide increased by 27 percent.

Researchers say guns were involved in a large number of suicide and homicide deaths.
