Miller Robson

Chief Meteorologist

Miller Robson was named chief meteorologist for WLTZ First News in September 2019 after a long-running stint in the weather department and as the morning meteorologist. He earned his certification through the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University.

Having grown up in Columbus, Miller joined the WLTZ team in March 2007 after a successful 14 year career in radio, most notably as “Miller in the Morning” on Kissin’ 99.3/WKCN-FM.

In 2012, he helped launch the morning news program “WLTZ FIRST NEWS TODAY” and was the meteorologist on the show until stepping into the role as chief.

Miller has also been on camera for breaking severe weather events. His coverage of the March 3, 2019 tornado outbreak earned accolades from local National Weather Service offices for delivering critical, life-saving information to viewers.

If you like reality TV, you might have seen Miller as one of the twelve contestants on the hit Funny or Die reality show America’s Next Weatherman on TBS in August of 2015.

A former professional wrestler, he still enjoys staying fit by working out and running.

He loves football, baseball, reading, and the great outdoors.

Miller is happily married to his lovely wife, Suzi. They have 3 beautiful girls- Mikayla, Annabelle, and Taylor.

They are very active members at Morningside Baptist Church in Columbus.

Catch him weeknights at 6 and 11 on WLTZ and at 10 on the CW Ga-Bama.
