Severe Storm Threat
Cold Air To Follow
Despite the misty, foggy, cloudy start to the work-week, a litdetle sunshine will be returning during the afternoon hours of Monday. That, along with the passage of our latest warm front, will help to destabilize the atmosphere. The end result will be hit/miss, although intense, thunderstorms during the middle and later stages of the afternoon. Any thunderstorm can be accompanied by damaging winds and large hail. Things should quiet down this evening; at least for a time. The cold front to our west will arrive overnight with the potential for severe storms and an isolated tornado. Unfortunately, under the cover of darkness you cannot see them coming. Stay up-to-date with WLTZ on air, and online.
