Frost/Freeze Sets The Stage For Winter’s Return
Cold We Got; Milder This Weekend
A pretty cold start to Thursday under a clear sky will lead to patches of frost or a freeze. A bit more widespread frost/freeze is likely for Friday morning. Tender plants and vegetation may very well have a difficult time surviving the next couple of mornings. Even if they do, more cold air will arrive next week. Whew! This current cold dome of air that originated over the Northwest Territories of Canada will modify some by Friday afternoon before our next storm arrives this weekend. Before then, a gusty breeze will help enhance the chill, even during the afternoon hours of Thursday.
The only two days with above average temperatures in the next ten days will just so happen to coincide with this weekend. Fortunate or not, wet weather will also be moving in Saturday night and Sunday. Outdoor plans? Try Saturday, although clouds will be thickening.
