Auburn Feeling Slighted In SEC Season Accolades

AUBURN BASKETBALL BECOMES FIRST TEAM SINCE 1956 TO BE A REGULAR SEASON CONFERENCE CHAMPION AND NOT HAVE A PLAYER MAKE ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

SEC basketball accolades were handed down today and much to everybody’s surprise no Auburn players were on the All-SEC first team.

That makes them the only power five school that is going into their conference tournament as a #1 seed to not have at least one player name to all-conference first team.

But Bryce Brown and Jared Harper won’t go home completely empty handed. They made second team all SEC.

“1956 is when they first started putting on first and second team all SEC’s. There’s never been a regular season SEC Champion that didn’t have one player on the first team, until this year,” Says Pearl. “That’s just been consistent with our whole year”
