Flood Watch This Weekend

Worst Part Of Storm Is Saturday Eve To Sunday

Clouds and fog will start off the weekend with a shower or drizzle around.   While a large part of the afternoon should be free of rain, there can still be a shower or t-shower on the prowl.   You can check the local radar on this website to make sure your outdoor plans won’t get spoiled.

Meanwhile, heavy pockets of rain forming near the Gulf Coast will move northeastward into the Plains and Chattahoochee Valley; the worst of which will likely occur Saturday evening through Sunday. Rain will be heavy enough to create flooding in areas of poor drainage.

Additional storms early next week will aggravate existing flooding problems before things begin to calm down by the middle of next week. Stay safe.
