We Get Wet This Weekend
A cold front approaching from the northwest will tap into plenty of Gulf moisture, leading to some heavy pockets of rain this weekend. That said, most of Saturday will feature just an occasional shower or spot of drizzle. The core of heavy rain will likely hold off until Saturday night and Sunday; topping an inch in many areas. Despite all of that, it will remain a mild weekend. The same cannot be said for early next week.
Colder air will come in a couple small doses at the beginning and end of next week. Some areas may not get out of the 40s for a high temperature by Tuesday with sub-freezing temperatures at night. Another cold front toward week’s end can produce another shower or thundershower.
