Warmer Weekend; Yay!
Showers Later Monday; Let's Worry About That Then
A northward shift in the jet stream, or the ribbon of air that drives storms across the nation, allows for warmer weather to infiltrate this weekend. If you outdoor plans, you’ll want to extend them. If you don’t, you’ll definitely want to find some. That said, there’ll be a couple patches of black ice lingering Saturday morning; otherwise a partly sunny and milder afternoon will be in store.
Our next storm currently resides in the Northwest. Its arrival is later Monday and Monday night. Only rain is expected with this storm. The air in its wake originated over the Pacific Ocean, so no major cold snap is in the offing. Enjoy!
