Winter Digs In For A Week
Mainly Dry Weather
Cold, gusty winds will set the stage for a cold start to this weekend. The combination of the cold and the wind will make it feel like the teens early Saturday, and no better than the 30s during the afternoon.
Sunshine will be prevalent to wind out the weekend into MLK Day, but a distinct chill will linger.
Another cold front approaching Tuesday night will reinforce the core of cold air across the region for the rest of the week. If enough moisture is available with this front, the chance of flurries is not out of the realm of possibilities.
A shift in the weather pattern will occur for the 2nd half of January, leading to drier and warmer weather starting next weekend. Enjoy!
