Cold Eases, Albeit Painfully Slow
Stormy Start Next Week
A frigid start to Friday with near record temperatures will give way to lots of sunshine, and not as harsh conditions. Initially, due to the lack of wind Friday afternoon, it’ll feel a bit better by default.
Additional sunshine this weekend will allow for daytime high temperatures to go from the 40s to the 50s. Woohoo!
By the time our next storm approaches Sunday night or Monday, it will be warm enough for rain. The storm will provide a pretty good dose of rain; it may even thunder.
The air mass in the wake of this storm originated over the north Pacific, so expect a warmer week overall next week. 60 degrees can easily return for the first time since Christmas Eve. Enjoy.
