Apple CEO Tim Cook Only Takes Private Planes
APPLE CEO TIM COOK NOW TAKES PRIVATE PLANES ONLY
(CNN) – Apple is now requiring CEO Tim Cook to fly a private plane for all travel business and personal.
That’s according to the company’s Wednesday SEC filing.
Apple stated that it implemented the policy this year for security and efficiency purposes.
The total cost of Cook’s personal travel on the private plane in 2017 was just over $93,000.
His total compensation for the year was 12.8 million.
Technically, that makes him Apple’s lowest-compensated executive team member.
However, he also got massive stock pay-out which brought his total 2017 pay to more than $100-million.
