Kerryon Johnson Limited in Practice Ahead of Peach Bowl
KERRYON JOHNSON IN NON-CONTACT PRACTICE AHEAD OF PEACH BOWL
For the Auburn tigers this years Peach Bowl is a chance to end the season on a high note.
They knocked off both their rivals in the regular season and now they have a chance to put another BCS bowl trophy on the shelf.
They’ll have to put up some points in order to knock off UCF and their high powered offense.
One of the tigers key offensive players, Kerryon Johnson is still dealing with a shoulder injury.
In recent practices, he’s been in non-contact drills, but coach Malzahn say’s he’ll be ready to go by game time.
“Yeah like I said he had a good practice while he was there and we had him in non contact by design, but he moved around very well,” Says Malzahn. “We have some other guys that were banged up and were non contact before we got to the bowl site. We will be very smart with those guys, but he looked good again today. He’s going to play and I’m hoping he’ll be as close to 100 percent as he can”
