Is Fast Food Linked to Childhood Heart Disease?

Your Health Minute

Is Fast Food Really Affecting Your Child’s Health?

Children who frequently eat fast food may be at risk for heart disease and diabetes.

Researchers in the U-K surveyed a group of nine and ten year olds about their usual diets.

Regular fast food eaters had higher body fat composition and blood fats than kids who are home cooked meals.

They also consumed more calories than kids who ate at home.

These findings do not mean fast food causes health problems but there is an observed link.
