VP Mike Pence’s Israel Visit Delayed

VICE PRESIDENT PENCE'S TRIP TO ISRAEL IS BRIEFLY POSTPONTED.

(CNN) – Vice President Mike Pence’s upcoming trip to Israel is put on hold.

The delay was confirmed by a spokesperson for the Knesset.

Pence was scheduled to land in Israel on Sunday and give a speech to parliament the next day.

The visit is expected to last a few days.

The Israeli trip comes shortly after president Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

He also decided in favor of moving the U.S. embassy to that location.
