UGA’s Jake Fromm Had a Field Day in the SEC Championship


Georgia wide receiver and Callaway grad Terry Godwin led the way in recieving yards for Georgia in the SEC Championship. He got his first ever touchdown in an SEC championship game on a 7 yard touchdown pass from Jake Fromm to push the lead to 14.

Jake Fromm had one of his best games combining on 2 touchdowns and a 73% passing completion percentage.

At the half Jarrett Stidham was almost perfect completing 10 of 12 passing attempts, but at the end of the game was at 50%.

Now its on to the college football playoffs for Georgia and the Chick-fil-a Peach bowl for Auburn.

“Who’s next. Who is going to get it next I mean we gotta go back to the laboratory and keep working,” says Georgia junior wide receiver Terry Godwin. 

“Man the mindset is to enjoy this one and man whatever they throw at us tomorrow we will see how it goes and keep chopping from there,” says Georgia freshman quarterback Jake Fromm.
