Teens who are bullied fight back by bringing weapons to school.

Teenagers bullied in school might be more likely to bring a weapon to class.

A new study published in the Journal Pedatrics weapon to class. finds bullying victims are much more likely to carry a bun or a knife than other students.

The risk rose even more when kids got into fights at school, felt threatened or skipped school because they were too afraid for their safety.

Experts suggest watching for red flags like unexplained bruising and missing a lot of school .

The 2015 Youth Risk Behavior Survey for grades 9-12 found 20.2 percent of students reported being a victim of bullying over a 12-month period.
