Halloween Spending To Reach $9.1B
RETAILERS SET TO SCARE UP A RECORD $9.1 BILLION IN SALES THIS YEAR
(CNN) – Retailers are set to scare up a record $9.1 billion in Halloween sales this year.
That’s according to a survey released by the national retail federation and prosper insights and analytics.
Consumers are expected to spend $3.4 billion on costumes, $2.7 billion on candy, and $2.7 billion on decorations.
Americans are set to shell out an average of just over $86.00 each.
If the survey data is correct, 2017 sales will be an 8.3% jump from last year’s sales.
