Yoga is good for the heart, especially combined with areobics.

In Your Health Minute today, a combination of yoga and aerobic exercise might be beneficial for people with heart disease.

Researchers in India followed 750 heart patients participating in either aerobic training, yoga or both.

The combined group had double the reduction in blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index than those who did yoga or aerobics alone.



The study included obese heart disease patients with type two diabetes.
