Obama’s ‘Disgusted’ by Weinstein Allegations

HARVEY WEINSTEIN ACCUSED OF RAPE, FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA "DISGUSTED"

(CNN) – Former president Barack Obama said he’s disgusted by sex assault claims surrounding film Titan Harvey Weinstein.

He was officially let go from the company he co-founded on Sunday; it comes days after the New York Times published a story exposing nearly three decades of sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Rosanna Arquette have been added to the list of accusers.

Former president Obama and Michelle Obama issued a statement on Tuesday saying they are “disgusted” by the reports and that “any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable… Regardless of wealth or status.”

Weinstein’s spokeswoman denied the rape allegations in a statement provided to CNN.
