Vice President Mike Pence Left Indianapolis Colts Game after 49ers Players Kneeled
Vice President Mike Pence was on hand for the Indianapolis Colts game against the San Francisco 49ers.. But, he didn’t wait around for the kickoff.
The vice president left the stadium after several 49ers players kneeled during the national anthem.
In a tweet, the vice president said that he would “not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our flag, or our national anthem.”

Pence was at the game in part to honor former Colts quarterback Peyton Manning’s number retirement and his name being added to the team’s ring of honor.
