Study says e-cigarettes are safer.

In Your Health Minute millions of lives could be saved if American smokers switched to e-cigarettes.

That’s according to a new study from Georgetown University.

Researcher say smokers could gain 86 million years of life over the next ten years by completely switching to vaping.

They say the switch would also help reduce smoking related disease and exposure to second hand smoke.

Even the most pessimistic scenario finds if 1.6 million of former cigarette smokers switched to e-cigarettes, 20.8 million more years of life would be saved.
