Seniors Respond Well to Depression Treatments

A new study finds depression treatment is not just for the young.
Researchers at Cedars-Sinai hospital follwoed over 22 hundred adults diagnosed with depression.
Although older adults were more prone to severe depressive episodes they responded well to treatment.
In fact, seniors showed improvements in their overall quality of life after treatment similar to younger patients.
Adults of all ages had increased energy, improved outlook on life and feeling deeper connections with friends, family and their community after undergoing depression treatment.
