Young Meth Users More Likely to have a Stroke

Young people who use methamphetamines could increase their risk of having a stroke.

That’s according to new research coming out of Australia.

Methamphetamines, often called speed, ice or meth, were strongly linked to strokes caused by a brain bleed rather than a clot.

And young males who used meth were twice as likely as their female peers to suffer a drug related stroke.
