First Cut Made at the Barbasol Championship, Collins Leads the Field
COLLINS SITS AT -15 THROUGH THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS
The first cut has been made at the PGA Tour’s Barbasol Championship and 82 professionals and one amateur are still in the hunt for that top prize.
After round two of the Championship event, Chad Collins led the field wth a -15 two-day total. He’s four strokes ahead of Brian Gay and Cameron Tringale who both sit tied for 2nd with a two-day total of -11.
The 36-hole cut was -2 and because more than 78 golfers made the cut, a 54-hole cut will be made following the third round to reduce the field down to 70 players or less.
