Woman Stabbed in Lee County, Alabama

A 32-year-woman is recovering in the hospital after being stabbed in Lee County on Thursday, June 8, 2017.

She was stabbed in a parking lot near the intersection of Lee Road 621 and Alabama Highway 169 just outside the Opelika City limits shortly after 2 p.m.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, it appeared to be a domestic dispute.

However, they are in the process of interviewing two people who were on the scene when it happened.

The woman was airlifted to Midtown Medical Center.

The situation is under investigation.
