Memorial Day Weekend Video Forecast: Hot & Humid

It’s hard to believe Memorial Day Weekend is already upon us! With many of you planning outdoor events, I wanted to get this forecast out to you ASAP!

A cold front moved through earlier Wednesday bringing an end to the storms and more comfortable air by the hour.

The comfortable air will stick with us during the day Thursday with a few morning clouds giving way to mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70’s to near 80.

Friday will feature lots of sunshine but noticeably warmer temps as highs soar back into the upper 80s. Humidity will be manageable.

We’ll see sunshine continue on Saturday with a few afternoon clouds. Highs will reach on either side of 90 with humidity starting to build back in. No rainfall is expected Saturday for any outdoor festivities.

Sunday features sunshine with increasing afternoon clouds. A stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out with hot and humid conditions bringing highs to near 90.

Memorial Day itself will see a better chance for afternoon and evening storms. It will be hot and humid as well with highs near 90.

If you have flexibility in planning your outdoor plans, Friday and Saturday are the best days. Sunday looks good too, but we may see an isolated afternoon storm. Monday doesn’t look like a washout, but rainfall chances will return by afternoon and evening for some of you.

We’ll continue to keep you updated!
