Brookstone Hires Blair Harrison As Head Football Coach

HARRISON RETURNS TO COACH COUGAR SQUAD

Brookstone School has hired a new head football coach, one that’s familiar with coaching the Brookstone Cougars.

Blair Harrison has been hired to lead the program this Fall.

Harrison coached at Brookstone from 2003-2012 where he finished with a 73-29 record.

“My biggest accomplishments have been the years I coached at Brookstone,” Harrison said. “Especially the three years in a row that we didn’t lose a region game. I love Brookstone and want my children to experience this education.”

He comes to Brookstone from Hardaway High School where he served as Offensive Coordinator and also helped as an assistant in baseball. Prior to Hardaway, Harrison served as Athletic Director at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, Louisiana for two years.

Harrison attended Maryville College and lettered in football and baseball his freshman year.  He transferred to the University of Tennessee and graduated with a BA in Political Science.

Harrison takes over a Brookstone team that went 4-7 last season.

He replaces Scott Pethtel who coached the Cougars from 2015 to 2016.
