Rain Chances Increase This Weekend
THE HEAT CONTINUES THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH WIDESPREAD 90'S EXPECTED
After a series of hot days this week, we’ll begin to get some relief in terms of afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorms.
While not everyone will get rain, these isolated to scattered downpours will provide a reprieve from these seasonably warm temps.
Our first chance arrives Thursday afternoon as a wave of Gulf of Mexico moisture moves north through the area.
A better chance at mainly afternoon and evening storms is scheduled for Sunday and Monday as a storm system approaches from the west.
Highs will remain near 90 through Saturday before cooling down a bit with the additional clouds and rainfall on Sunday.
