SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS ROAMING OUR AREA THIS EVENING

Let’s take a closer look at where the rain is as of 5pm ET:

Additional showers and storms may fire overnight bringing some much needed rainfall to the area.

Here’s a look at one computer model’s take of what will happen:

This frontal boundary will travel through the Plains and Chattahoochee Valley overnight and into the daytime tomorrow.

Scattered showers and storms will be possible throughout the morning and early afternoon tomorrow.

We’ll finally clear out our skies by Saturday evening. Expect a pleasant Mother’s Day with lower humidity and highs in the mid 80’s.

Next week looks dry and hot with temps soaring back into the 90’s for the majority of the week.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!
