Ft. Benning Gainey Cup Competition



The best military training occurs when it’s performed in a realistic battlefield environment.

That’s why Ft. Benning’s Gainey Cup competition works well to identify the best Scout squad in the Army and make all the participants better prepared for the real deal.

And Army Scout  must be well versed in all aspects of battlefield operations from communications to demolitions and the calling of artillery fire.

The 3rd Biennial Gainey Cup is underway at Fort Benning testing scouts from installations all around the world on their conditioning, cavalry skills and team strategies.

The four day Gainey Cup was established in 2014.

The competition is open to the public and several events are spectator friendly.
