Miss Auburn University Prepares for Miss Alabama Interview

BROOKLYN HOLT TAKES A STAND ON ISSUES IN PREPARATION FOR MISS AMERICA STATE COMPETITION

The Miss America Scholarship Competition is the largest provider of scholarships to young women in the world.

Here in Alabama, participants at the state level are exposed to over $110,000 made available in direct cash scholarships as well as numerous in-kind tuition opportunities from universities across the state such as the University of Alabama, Troy University, and Auburn University.

Brooklyn Holt knew that scholarships were the draw going into the Miss Auburn University competition this past October, where she walked away with “Resident Tuition” for the year valued at $9,072 among other awards.

Auburn University administrators and professors gathered on Monday to help Brooklyn prepare for the much-anticipated portion of the competition—the interview, which counts for a quarter of each contestant’s total score.

The Miss Alabama Competition will be held June 7-10 in Birmingham, Al. You can find tickets HERE.
