Opelika Schools Adding Virtual Reality to Student Experience

Students at West Forest Intermediate School in Opelika got to experience virtual reality first, and now sixth graders at OMS are getting to travel through time thanks to Google Expedition Kits.

Ms. Skelton’s classroom transformed into a “jungle” for a morning of museum exploration in Berlin.

Diansours were first up for the students on their “Jurassic Park” lesson.

Teachers are using virtual reality to creatively introduce new concepts and reinforce classroom lectures across the country.
