PAWS Humane Offers a Pet First Aid and CPR Class

Participants will learn how to respond to a variety of injuries

Not all pet owners know what to do when their furry friend is having a medical emergency.

PAWS Humane is sponsoring training for animal owners to understand pet injuries, determine if they are experiencing a health threat, and then, know how to respond.

Lessons in pet first aid, scene safety, vital signs, and pet CPR are offered.

Training on standard precautions, choking, muzzling, snakebite and rescue breathing will also be taught.

PAWS Humane is offering the Pet First Aid and CPR classes jointly with Southeastern Remote Medical Training,

The classes will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at PAWS Humane’s Community Room, 4900 Milgen Road, Columbus, Georgia. The cost is $50 with a $10 deposit to secure a seat. To sign up, please email southeasternremotemedical@gmail.com or call 706-665-3207.
