It’s National Boys & Girls Club Week

The Chattahoochee Valley Celebrates with several Events

National Boys & Girls Club Week takes place March 27th through March 31st, 2017.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Chattahoochee Valley (BGCCV), celebrates with different activities held each day.

The BGCCV invites all alumni and the community to participate in the celebrations.

More than 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs across America will also be celebrating.

“Day in and day out, our Boys & Girls Club staff and mentors deliver quality experiences that makes a difference in a youth’s life beyond their time at the Club. Research shows that kids who have an optimal experience at our Clubs are also more likely to have positive self-esteem, volunteer, and be engaged in school,” said Rodney Close, President and CEO. “National Boys & Girls Club Week is a special time when we welcome the community to witness the amazing impact Clubs have on the lives of kids and teens.”

The Boys & Girls Club have been around for over 80 years making a difference in the lives of children all across America with a focus on providing programs to enhance academic success, good character and healthy lifestyles to name a few.
