Severe Weather Tonight for the Chattahoochee Valley and the Plains, Much Nicer Thursday Through the Weekend

WEDNESDAY

Severe weather is on track for this late this afternoon and evening.

Clouds will continue to move in ahead of a cold front that will bring showers and thunderstorms later today and tonight.

Highs will stay warm in the mid to upper 70s to low 80s.

The severe threat will include damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, periods of heavy rain, localized flooding, and the chance for one or two tornadoes although that risk has lessened a bit.

Your WLTZ First News Weather team is continuing to track these storms all over our social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter so check in often.
