A Warm Tuesday Leads to Severe Weather Wednesday for the Southeast
COOLER TEMPERATURES COMING
Isolated showers are possible today as we will see the warmest temperatures of the week so far getting into the upper 70s to low 80s this afternoon under a mix of sun and clouds.
Overnight lows tonight getting down into the low to mid 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms on tap for Wednesday. Some of these storms could turn severe with damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, periods of heavy rain, and we cannot rule out one or two tornadoes either.
Nicer weather returns on the back end of that front as we get into Thursday.
Temperatures return to seasonal through Saturday with daytime highs in the low to mid 60s and overnight lows in the 30s and 40s as we will stay dry through the weekend.
