Coyote-Killing Contest Set to Begin in Metro Atlanta

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is promoting the “Georgia Coyote Challenge”.

ATLANTA, GA (WLTZ) — Coyotes are sometimes problems in urban environments. To rid this problem, the State of Georgia is planning to stage a coyote-killing contest in metro Atlanta.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is promoting the “Georgia Coyote Challenge”.

Participants can kill up to five coyotes a month from March through August for a chance to win a lifetime hunting license.

Some opposing the contest said the whole idea calling it cruel.
