Coyote-Killing Contest Set to Begin in Metro Atlanta
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is promoting the “Georgia Coyote Challenge”.
ATLANTA, GA (WLTZ) — Coyotes are sometimes problems in urban environments. To rid this problem, the State of Georgia is planning to stage a coyote-killing contest in metro Atlanta.
Participants can kill up to five coyotes a month from March through August for a chance to win a lifetime hunting license.
Some opposing the contest said the whole idea calling it cruel.
