Memorial held for fmr. Univ. of GA and Miami Dolphins player Quentin Moses, who was killed in a house fire Sunday.

Walton County, GA (WSB) – A memorial held on Wednesday honored a former University of Georgia and NFL player killed in a house fire Sunday morning.

Quentin Moses was found unconscious, moved outside the house and pronounced dead at a hospital.

A 31-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter were found dead inside the home.

Wednesday’s memorial was held at Reinhardt University’s Athletic Center.

Moses was in his fifth season as the university’s defensive line coach.

Fire officials say it appears the fire started in the kitchen and there’s no evidence of arson.

The investigation is continuing.

Moses played for the Miami Dolphins from 2007 to 2010.

He also spent time with the Raiders and Cardinals.
