Twelve LaGrange athletes sign football scholarships

Twelve LaGrange High School football players made their college dreams a reality on Thursday afternoon.

The dozen signed scholarship papers in front of families, friends, and classmates in a ceremony that honored all of their accomplishments.

Coy Tedescucci, Cordarius Grisson and Deanthony Rachel are headed to Campbellsville University.

Deandre Pollard is going to West Alabama.

Jalen Wilson signed with Kentucky Wesleyan.

Amad Ogletree inked his name with Reinhardt University.

Johnathan Olajubutu is headed to Siskiyous.

Marquez Payne signed with Ridgewater College.

James Clark signed with West Hills Communty College.

Marcus Fannin is going to Waldorf College.

LaPerion Perry was the unique one of the day. He’s headed to the University of West Georgia to play football and basketball.

“It’s a blessed opportunity,” Perry said. “Some people don’t get to have their chance to go play double sports so they gave me the chance and I had to go take it.”

Two more LaGrange football players are planning on signing scholarships next Monday, February 10th. Jordan Ragan is going to sign with LaGrange College while Rico Dunn is going to sign with West Hills Community College.
