Storms Wednesday Through Thursday Morning Could Bring More Severe Weather To The Chattahoochee Valley And The Plains

Expect a Cooler End to The Work Week

A second round of showers and thunderstorms is possible late this evening through early Thursday as a cold front approaches. Some of these storms could turn severe mainly north of Columbus. Gusty winds, hail, and frequent lightning will be the main threats.

Highs will push into the upper 60s to low 70s today, but the colder air will drop daytime temperatures into the low to upper 50s Thursday and Friday. We could wake up to below freezing temps Friday morning, too.

A quick look at the weekend shows daytime temperatures rebounding to the upper 60s to mid 70s under mainly sunny skies Saturday with more clouds moving in on Sunday giving us a chance for isolated showers.
