Fatal DUI suspect sentenced to 30 years

Georgia DUI suspect gets 30 year sentence for deadly crash.

Atlanta, GA (WSB) – An Atlanta man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for a 2016 crash that killed a nine-year old boy and seriously injured two others.

Ryan Lisabeth pleaded guilty to charges he was high on heroin when he plowed his car into the three boys.

Lisabeth was visibly shaken and wiped away tears as he listened to how his victims suffered.

The 29-year old apologized to the families of the victims before he was sentenced.

Lisabeth was facing 49 years behind bars, his sentence was reduced in a plea deal.
