Jordan High football players sign scholarships
Jordan High School is sending two football players to the next level.
On Thursday, D’Andre Snead and Brenden Fitzgerald signed scholarships to play college football.
Fitzgerald is an outside tackle and will be playing that same position for Webber International University down in Florida.
“I’m just excited to start a new step in my life so I’m pretty excited.”
Snead, meanwhile is headed to the Division-I level and will play wide receiver at Savannah State.
“It’s a relief that I did find a school,” Snead said. “It’s like a dream come true.”
Snead and Fitzgerald are the first football players this year to sign with a college football team.
